Great vibe, little substance
The lyrics
This song is the embodiment of looking for a one night stand. There is definitely something positive about knowing exactly what you want, but this song doesn’t have much else going on lyrically. This song is perfect for if you’re feeling extra sexy and extra confident, but beyond that, there is no message other than “I’m hot, let’s have kinky sex”.
That is not to say that this automatically makes this a bad song. It simply risks limiting the audience of listeners who may not be into strictly sexy songs.
The instrumentals
The best part about this song is its use of synths on the off beats. The remixed accordion adds unique bits of layering, and almost has a bit of a disco feel. Having the consistent bass hits during the verses supports the unashamed lyrics. The way the intro to the chorus switches to lighter percussion adds a good bit of tension, too.
Overall
With the final product being only around 2 minutes and thirty seconds, many people will feel this song is forgettable. The type of song that would one would dance to if it came on, but wouldn’t make it onto a playlist. That being said, the song would be perfect for movie trailers and remixes.
